Home Quest

Home Quest is  a Collaborative partnership between the Delta School Disrict and parents seeking an alternative to traditional classroom-base instruction. The program is designed for students in Kindergarten to Grade 7.

Home Quest is a Ministry funded Distributed Learning (DL) program that offers participants a range of opportunities to enhance and  broaden their educational experiences.

By enrolling in Home Quest participants have access to  Delta School District's educational resources, provincial curriculum materials, and hands-on learning experiences, while maintaining a flexible learning environment within the guidelines of a DL program.

Home Quest Features

  • Weekly full-day classes that feature interactive learning experiences in Science, Fine Arts, French, Physical Education, Language Arts and more. Click here for the Delta Home Quest Agreement form.
  • Reimbursment of funds for supplies, resources and activities that support the provincial Prescribed Learning Outcomes. Reimbursment Guidelines found here.
  • A teacher/coordinator to supervise yearly Student Learning Plans
  • Field trips  to a variety of destinations throughout the Lower Mainland.
  • On-site lending library full of resources, textbooks and hands-on learning materials.
  • Professional development sessions for parents to explore learning strategies on a range of curricular topics.
  • Ongoing educational support to families in selecting & implementing learning materials.
  • Use of school library
