DELTA EMPLOYMENT SKILLS PROGRAM
The doors of the Delta Employment Skills program close June 1, 2011.
Since 1983, the Continuing Education Branch of Delta School District has been actively involved in offering employment assistance and skills training programs, including The Delta Pre-Employment Program and Beyond 2000. The Delta Job Finding Club provided services to the Richmond/ Delta region successfully from 1993 to 2007 and the Delta Employment Skills Program, its successor, enjoyed overwhelming enrollment since its introduction in September 2007.
We would like to thank the federal and provincial governments, most recently through the Ministry of Social Development, for helping Delta Continuing Education provide employment services to the community for more than 25 years. We also thank the many clients and colleagues who have supported us over those years.
