Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate (DTAC) Program
Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate Program participants develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work with K-12 students with special physical, behavioural, sensory, or learning needs. The DTAC program prepares its participants to provide support to students and teachers, implementing teacher-developed programs in resource rooms, learning assistance and E.S.L. services, regular classrooms, and alternate programs.
The program is offered on a part-time basis over 10 months, with evening and Saturday classes and 5 weeks of full-time practicum experience. Class size is limited.
