Kim Wright
Coach
Kim is the former Head Coach of the Venezuelan National Women’s Softball team and the former Assistant Coach for Team Canada. She has also been a coach with the Maverick’s, Surrey Storm and Renegades. She is the owner and head instructor at West Coast Softball Academy, has her NCCP Level 3 certification and is pursuing level 4/5.
Kim’s success as a softball coach, both locally and nationally, is a huge asset to the Softball Academy!

Amy O'Bee
Teacher Coordinator
Amy O’Bee is a PE teacher at Seaquam and is in her second year as the Teacher Coordinator for the Softball Academy. Amy assists Kim and Ron on-field and is the strength and conditioning coach for the Softball Academy.
Amy has played competitive softball for over 20 years with the White Rock Renegades Association and the North Delta Sunfire women's team. She has also coached with the White Rock Renegades for 4 years and been a hitting instructor at the Dugout Training Facility. Amy has competed at three National Championships as a player and one as a coach.
Amy has a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (UBC) with a specialization in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Education (UBC). As well she has various courses in Sports Science and Sport Conditioning.

Ron Clarke
Coach
We are pleased to welcome Ron Clarke to the coaching staff of the Softball Academy. Ron has over 20 years as a National Team coach and has 15 years coaching experience with female softball athletes.
Ron has many championships to his credit; he was the Head Coach of the Senior Women’s Canadian National Team at the Sydney Olympics in 2000; Head Coach of the Women’s team at the Pan-American Games in Winnipeg in 1999; and Head Coach at the World Championship in Japan in 1997. Ron has his NCCP Level 3.
Ron's years of experience and success as a Women's Softball Coach has added to the excellent softball coaching available to students in the Softball Academy.
