Golf Academy - Seaquam Secondary
Program Information
The Delta School District offers an excellent Golf Academy at Seaquam Secondary . Students in the golf academy will learn golf fundamentals and swing mechanics from CPGA teaching professionals Chris Lutes and Robert Cordero. Flexibility and strength training seminars will be instructed by Jason Glass, head of the Titleist Performance Institute’s (TPI) Fitness Advisory Board. Included in the Academy program is a 12 month Junior Membership to Surrey Golf Club , Delta Golf Club and Willows 9 , plus over 6000 range balls at Delta Golf Center and Sunshine Woods Golf Center.
The Golf Academy is a two block program, every other afternoon. Students will receive credit for PE and another elective at the appropriate grade level. This program is designed to maximize individual potential and development and is open to male and female students of all skill levels in Grades 8 - 12. Teacher Coordinator, Bryce Hamade, is currently working to make this program more accessible to all interested young golfers.
