Sandra Almond
Sandra Almond is a seasoned Visual Effects Producer currently based in Vancouver, BC. Her film career began in Marin County, CA working at George Lucas’ Industrial Light & Magic. From 1990 to 1992, Sandra worked her way into a VFX Production Coordinator role. While at ILM, Sandra worked on such feature films as “The Rocketeer”, “Memoirs of an Invisible Man” and 1993 Academy Award VFX winner, “Death Becomes Her." In 1994, Sandra moved to Vancouver, BC where the film industry was starting to blossom. Sandra was one of the first experienced Visual Effects talents to take up residence in Vancouver. Over the last 15 plus years Sandra has hired, trained and mentored a large portion of those employed in the Vancouver Visual Effects community. As a freelancer, she has crossed paths with several of the Visual Effects companies in Vancouver and several Studios in California.

Garnet Campbell
Media Producer and founder of Red Ant Digital Creativity - Garnet is a highly experienced Media Producer who has demonstrated his ability to lead diverse teams of creative artists to new levels of success in a variety of new media. Garnet has over 15 years of hands-on experience in media production, business development, project management, marketing strategies and team building. As an on-line ad campaign designer, Garnet has experience in using the latest on-line tools; social network and email based marketing solutions. He is able to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, as well as manipulate and create websites in html, flash and php applications. Garnet has extensive video camera operating experience including newer HD, video DSLR technologies and workflows. He is also proficient with Final Cut editing software and Photoshop design; to add to this, he also has experience with live sound recording, reinforcement mixing and system design.

Richard Cox
Creative Instructor - Script Writing, Pitching, Auditioning - Richard is a professional working actor with over 25 years experience. As a veteran film, TV and voice actor, Richard has starred in TV series such as: The Adventures of the Black Stallion, Beggars and Choosers, Breaker High. His voice work includes the lead character Inyashu on the anime series of the same name. Richard presently divides his time between working in the industry, teaching at the Film Acting Academy and at Tarlington Training. He also works as a professional writer pitching shows for producers; he is currently working on a screen adaptation of a popular novel.

Oliver Glaser
Technical Instructor - Camera, Sound & Light - Oliver Glaser(IATSE 669) is a cinematographer whose credentials include Director of Photography, Camera Operator, and Executive Producer. Oliver has been behind the camera directing photography on several award winning feature films and numerous shorts. As well as being an accomplished Director of Photography and Cinematographer, Oliver also has considerable experience producing films, editing, gaffing and key gripping. His skills as an editor and his training in visual FX are of a particular advantage during production as they simplify the post-production phase. Oliver's work has been seen on TV internationally, including HBO, Discovery channel, and ARD in Germany.

Paige Hansen
The Biz Instructor - A Drama teacher for over 14 years, Paige Hansen holds a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and English Literature (UBC), Bachelors of Education in Drama and English (UBC) and a Masters Degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum Studies. She also holds a Drama in Education Certificate from the University of Central England and has studied acting in the BFA program at UBC. Paige currently works as a Drama teacher and Film Acting Academy Coordinator at South Delta Secondary School. The Film Acting Academy was a proposal that Paige brought forward in 2009. Paige’s long association with the Film Industry created a natural “in” with people and projects in the industry, locally and internationally.

Ron Yoshida
Editing Instructor - Ron Yoshida has been an editor since the very beginnings of the film industry here in Vancouver. His resume is packed with staple Vancouver shows starting with the likes of 21 Jump Street, MacGyver, Highlander, The Outer Limits, Andromeda, Stargate: Atlantis. These were the shows that defined Vancouver as “Hollywood North." More recent resume highlights include productions such as: Life as we Know it, The 4400, Whistler, The L Word, and Sanctuary, to name a few. Ron has been an active member of the film industry community serving for a period of time as Department Head of Editing for the IATSE union.
