Empowering Teens to Make Healthy Choices
Motivational speaker, Keith Pattinson, will present “What Our Youth Need To Succeed” in Ladner on January 28. Sponsored by Ladner Partners in Education, the presentation will discuss how to support young people and empower them to make healthy choices. Parents and students Grade 6 and up will learn practical ideas that can have a tremendous influence on young people’s lives and gain a better understanding of why some kids appear to grow up with ease while others struggle. Parents can also learn how to play a key role in assuring youth receive the support they need to succeed.
As a father, grandfather, motivational speaker, and master story-teller, Keith Pattinson has played a key role in the introduction of a wide range of innovative services and approaches that benefit children, youth, and their families throughout Canada.
The event is sponsored by Ladner Partners in Education, a coalition of Ladner public and private school principals and Parent Advisory Councils who work together to address the common interests of children and parents in the community. “What Our Youth Need To Succeed” takes place on Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 pm at Delta Secondary School’s Genesis Theatre, 4615 - 51st Street in Ladner. Tickets are on sale at all school offices in Ladner at a cost of $5 per person or $10 per family (maximum of 4).
