It's never too late to graduate!
 
 
Delta Community College offers several ways for adults to successfully complete high school:
 
Adult Graduation Diploma:
» Tuition free!
» The program consists of 20 credits or 5 courses
» Must be 18-years-old or older and not enrolled in a high school as of September 30.
 
2004 Graduation Program:
» Tuition free!
» The program consists of 80 credits for students entering grade 10 after July 1, 2004.

Structured courses:
» In-class instruction following a structured teaching schedule
» Courses offered:
• Communications 12
• English 11 & 12
• Foundations of Math 11
 
Delta Individualized Adult Learning (DIAL):
» Online courses with support from in-class instructors
» Work at your own pace within scheduled classes
» Regular attendance is required
» Courses offered:
• Apprenticeship & Workplace Math 10 & 11
• Biology 11 & 12
• Chemistry 11 & 12
• Family Studies 12
• Foundations of Math 11
• Law 12
• Planning 12
• Social Studies 11

 

How To Register For High School Completion Courses

Registration Fees

All Canadian and and Permanent Residents who have NOT Graduated and are residing in BC can take tuition free academic courses as part of the Ministry of Education's Education Guarantee. Students must show proof of status in Canada and proof of residency in British Columbia. Students under 19 years of age must also provide parent proof of status in Canada and residency in British Columbia. ONLY non-graduated students can take advantage of this opportunity to improve their education. A $100.00 refundable textbook deposit will be required.

Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents: $100.00 refundable textbook deposit.

International Students taking High School Completion courses: $800.00 course fee, plus $100.00 refundable textbook deposit.

Day School Students
All Delta School District dayschool students must present a CE 1234 form completed by their Counsellor before they can register. The CE form can be located by clicking HERE .

Prerequisites
Students must present proof of prerequisite learning when registering for High School Completion courses such as a high school transcript or be prepared to write an assessment.

Course Transfer/Withdrawl
Each change to the original registration will be subject to a $40.00 processing fee which will be deducted from the textbook deposit.

Transcripts
All transcript requests should be made through the office of your high school.  Adult students who have taken courses with Continuing Education should contact the Continuing Education office at 604-940-5550.  One copy will be $6.00 and each additional copy is $2.00.
