  • Become a Maker this spring break

    Laser cutting, 3-D printing, virtual architectural design – these are just some of the skills that kids and youth in Delta are eagerly learning through the Delta School District’s MakerLabs. And this spring break, Maker Camps are being offered in both North Delta and South Delta.
  • Delta schools support anti-bullying

    Students throughout the entire Delta School District donned pink on Pink Shirt Day and took part in various activities to raise awareness and support efforts to combat bullying. At North Delta Secondary School students were joined by students from Sands Secondary, Delview Secondary and Richardson Elementary for a flashmob dance. Roughly 700 students were joined by BC Lions players to dance in support of anti-bullying.
  • Congrats to ACE IT grads

    To celebrate the most recent Delta students to have successfully completed their ACE IT programs, a certificate celebration was held at the February public meeting of the Delta Board of Education. Congratulations to all!

    The Vancouver Giants & Elementary Schools all over the Lower Mainland came together for the fourth year in a row to join the fight against bullying through an Acceptance Day Hockey Game. Check out all that went on at the Rink on Renfrew:
  • Off to the BC Winter Games

    Special Olympics figure skaters are set to debut their talents for the first time ever at the BC Winter Games. Staff and students at Delta Community College are incredibly excited that one of their own will be competing in the event! Krista Milne is a student at the college taking Information Technology, and she is excited to be representing her community.
