Delta School District

The DELTA SOUTH ASIAN STUDENT SUPPORT INITIATIVE (DSASSI) is a district committee that formed a few years ago to support schools by focusing on the joint roles and responsibilities of students, parents, school and district staff and community.

You are cordially invited to participate in a Delta South Asian Student Support Initiative gathering focused on ways to further strengthen and support South Asian students and families within the Delta school District.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring together school teams consisting of teachers, parents, counsellors, multicultural workers and administrators.

Prior to the meeting each school will survey their students and parent community then collate the responses. It is the hope of the committee that by getting together and looking at our areas of strength as well as what we need to improve on, that we can move forward and focus on how to better support our South Asian students and families.

Attendance and participation is encouraged. We value your input and hope you will join us on February 24th!
