Rental Exception Dates
While every attempt to facilitate rental requests will be made, there are certain dates in which the District requires use of their facilities and therefore will not be available to rent. The dates for 2009/2010 are as follows:
- Schools Open - Tuesday, September 8
- Thanksgiving - Monday, October 12
- Remembrance Day - Tuesday, November 11
- Last day to use elementary gym - Friday, December 4
- Last day to use secondary gym - Friday, December 4
2009
- Schools Re-open - Monday, January 4
- Spring Break - March 8 - 12
- District Wide Closure - March 15 - 19
- Good Friday - Friday, April 2
- Easter Monday - Monday, April 5
- Victoria Day - Monday, May 24
- Last day to rent school gym - Friday, June 18
2010
Please note that the following groups are exempt: out-of-school daycare programs (Monday-Friday), Continuing Education classes, Parks & Recreation leisure services and churches (Sundays). User groups may continue to access the gym at their regular time if arrangements are made at the beginning of the booking for that school year.
